Hi,
I was hesitant to share this short story, as it isn't a practical or a how-to guide, but I came across it by accident in an anthology of short stories and it's possibly the most well written and eloquent account of a pd mother and the consequences of her disorder on those around her that I have read - the descriptions of her behaviour and the analysis -  especially near the end when two characters discuss the PD's inability to love even herself (only control).   There's even (spoiler alert) the disinheritance scenario.
What resonates with me is that the description is so uncannily accurate  - even before there were terms to describe and categorise personality disorders.  I just found it brilliant and oddly reassuring.  Just a  fantastic short read and easy to find online. Happy reading for anyone who is interested.
