When I first started online research re my uOCPDh's behavior I came across some research by Evan Stark regarding 'coercive control'. It really struck a chord with me. I actually reached out to him via email with some questions and he referred me to this book, written by a colleague of his. One of his statements that really resonated with me is that that it can be the 'trivial rules' that feel more degrading...when dealing with a controlling partner.
