Today GC Bro6 is taking 89yo uNPD mother to an attorney to have her AMD redone, which my name will be taken off of and replaced with GC Bro6, as long as the attorney decides she competent enough I guess. Phew.  Dodged that bullet.  I'm guessing they'll be going over her will and POA as well to make sure all is kosher, since all that paperwork was done using an online will-maker, etc.

Evidently the rush to review all the paperwork was because about a month ago, GC Bro3 was in from out of town, GC Bro6 came to visit him at uNPD mother's place, and she asked how they knew each other.  Freaked them both out.  Also, she had been having dizzy spells for a few weeks prior and never told anyone, until the day the dog walker decided to call Bro6 and tell him.  Of course all this happened on the day when myself and Bro3 had a big event out of town 2 hours away.  I mean, one of the biggest days of my life, and she again had to steal the thunder.  Anyway, the following Monday ALL THREE GC Bros has her at the doc.  I mean, can you just imagine the smugness on her face when she's escorted by all three of her GC sons?  come to find out she had a UTI. Would she still have asked how they knew each other if she were not sick?  Don't know.  Can't tell, hence the rush on the attorney.

But if all went as expected I'm no longer responsible for pulling my mothers plug.  She can't pin that one on me now.  It's all up to Bros 5 and 6.

What's funny is I reviewed her AMD...woman wants to stay alive as long as possible.  She'd rather be comatose and "alive" than have the plug pulled.

There's something symbolic about her wishing to be alive at any cost even if she's not conscious. It's how they've lived their whole life in a way. Not having any genuine feelings and sucking in anything good from others.
