Got out of family dinner, this is so nice

I got out of going to family dinner with grandma by virtue of me being too dang tired after 2 back to back rehearsals today. I am very much enjoying having the place to myself, suitably atmospheric music going, a cup of tea and knocking out a stack of freelance business paperwork with my goofy little stuffed fish I got from work on my desk as company. This is so nice!

She's seriously beginning to consider assisted living, so halleluiah! I just hope it sticks, and mom's beginning to drop the rope more and more.
