Title: Very recently NC - my goals

I sent my mom an NC message this past Friday. I welcome this opportunity to think about goals:

1) Go after my healing ferociously. Continue my weekly therapy, devote time to read and do my C-PTSD workbook, and investigate all other things that might be helpful - EMDR, yoga nidra, anything that works. Mourn mother I didn't get. Talk to and comfort inner child.

2) Have peace and calm in my continuing family relationships. Be an energetic and present parent to my child and step child.

3) Improve health. Reduce drinking. Increase activity and sleep. Lose weight. Be free of high blood pressure.

4) Make time for creative pursuits.

I have to be cooler when reacting to the obstacles my PDW puts in the way. I cannot help it some times because I just feel paralysed by her torment.

I think these are great goals. :)
