A poem on trauma, grief and loss

I'm not a writer by trade but in a moment of deep grief I wrote this. Being creative helps me to process things. If anyone has written a poem or has a favourite poem by another author please feel welcome to add to this thread.

Trauma

Tiny spark unknown.
Ready to be loved
Deserving of all
This life has to offer.
Instead
Used until my soul shifted
Emerging flame extinguished
By those who should have
Given love.
Authentic self displaced,
Fear and shame
Where love could have rested
Selfish thought projected.
