I've been treated well

That's a strange thing to say.    The younger two kids and I wound up on a backpacking trip for scouts that included parents.    Since my daughter is also in scouts bsa my uOCPDw came.   The short bullet points are that the wife and daughter were not in shape for the trek and there was a lifeline; a train goes through the mountains and at a point picks up backpackers.    I intended to stay with the trek but was pushed to leave with the wife and daughter and my son gave in as well.   But on the second part I was treated well.   I was only mildly pressured to stop reading or wait for long periods where every restaurant choice was evaluated and compared in a secret matrix.   I was even allowed to take my son fly fishing.   I actually felt like a person who mattered.    I don't know if this is me being hoovered back in or not and it's easy to manipulate me.

At least I'm not stressed about a vacation which I really intended to skip.
