This board is dedicated to Dealing with PD In-Laws. The difference between the Parents board and this In-Laws board isn't just formal difference: parents v. in-laws. This board is for anyone dealing with PD in-laws, but is especially important to those struggling with the unique complexities of the in-law relationship. The in-law relationship causes different impacts on our marriages and different problems managing an extended family. This board community gets it. This is also the place for discussing the enabling, non-PD in-law, and the different challenges of that relationship.
As always, we discourage telling members they OUGHT to go NC, or -- just as much -- telling them they SHOULDN'T. We discourage saying the spouse is definitely in the wrong, as much as that they are definitely in the right. We share our experiences and observations while remembering we don't know the details of each member's story.
