Long time away

Hello,

I have been here before but it has been a couple of years ago.
I'm currently in a long term relationship with a narcissist. I really don't see a way out, as I believe he will come back with consequences for leaving him. I thought I could come here for support and maybe get some sight on how others are coping. Usually,  it takes someone who's been there to really understand your situation. I look forward to hanging out here longer than I did a couple of years ago. Best of luck to anyone dealing with a toxic person in their lives.

sometimes it's an awful lot to swallow at once, esp if you are just coming to terms with how a PD/ uPD affects you in the relationship.  my best advice- what can you control in the equation?  pick something small and start there with your boundaries.  it may be something as simple as not texting back or simply giving yes or no answers instead of justifying or trying to defend yourself.
