Title: Sandra Bloom: Dealing with the Ravages of Childhood Abuse
Post by: Rebel13 on March 28, 2024, 03:58:56 PM
Three articles.  I found the second and third ones particularly interesting and helpful.

Part I: Review of Literature on Loss and Grief from Childhood Abuse/Neglect (https://sandrabloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2000-Email-from-America-16-Dealing-with-the-Ravages-1.pdf)
Part II: Description and Explanation of Specific Losses (https://sandrabloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2000-Email-from-America-17-Dealing-with-the-Ravages-2.pdf)
Part III: Recovery from Childhood Losses (https://sandrabloom.com/wp-content/uploads/2000-Email-from-America-18-Dealing-with-the-Ravages-3.pdf)

Oh my. That's a hard read for me, I see myself and my brothers all over the place, both as children and as we are now.

Thank you, Rebel13. I think. This warrants a slower, deeper read later.

Yes, I hear you!  I printed out the last two so I can highlight and copy parts into my journal.

I've got them printed too, to read at home in the quiet.

It's like peeling an onion, tears and all. Thank you for sharing
