An unexpected hug!

I received a completely unexpected hug this afternoon, and it absolutely made my day.

I was out for my usual walk and came across a beautiful golden retriever.  No one was in sight.   I think it had escaped from its yard.

It jumped up and put its paws on my chest, just begging for pats.  How could I refuse?

It stayed with me for my whole walk, following me all the way home.  I wished I had someone at home so that I could ask, "Can we keep him?"

Ah.  Just so lovely.
