The life-saving divorce : hope for people leaving destructive relationships

I'm only halfway through, but it's been a solid read, backed up with hard data, and countless interviews from a wide spectrum of abusive situations. I especially recommend reading if you come from a religious or ultra-conservative background. Gretchen is pro-marriage, but speaks with profound clarity as to why divorce is the safest option in abusive situations. She breaks down what abuse can look like, even in the most covert mannerisms such as emotional. She debunks divorce myths and backs up her points with scripture, tons of interviewee experiences, and hard data.

Has anyone else read this one?

If you read it, definitely let us know what you think. It's hard to top Stop Caretaking, I keep going back to that one. This book isn't about mental illness, but it has helped me further understand the dynamics of abuse and come to clearer terms with my decision.
