There were always waiting lists, but Brexit created a medical worker shortage backing up everything for everyone.

There might be agencies with help outside the regular healthcare system, EM.

Brexit one reason yes but apparently they got a 300% increase in applications following the covid lockdown which made the backlog enormous.
