Appeal update and no summer vacation

So, the appellate court dismissed my appeal and the appeal of my still uocpd H. While they didn't find the grounds to reconsider the decision of the first instance, finding both of us guilty, the second court did substantiate that he often "speaks loudly" and that the first judge should have considered the impact of his rules on my (the first judge said he found his rules logical and efficient). Meanwhile, the good news: I've found a new lawyer, and moved apartments! And, the bad news: three months of negotiations over a three week vacation with the children to visit our relatives overseas have fallen apart. I'm heartbroken and hate to disappoint the children. Unfortunately, the expense of filing in court and buying last minute tickets is more than I can afford.

I'm sure it so difficult.    Anything with the major legal system is so tough and expensive.
