Post by: guitarman on January 14, 2018, 05:07:40 PM
There has been a recent article about gaslighting on the BBC website.

It describes a man who confesses to gaslighting his several partners.

"Gaslighting has been described as psychological abuse where false information is deliberately presented to the victim - the purpose being to make the victim question their own memory and perception of events."

Very informative, especially that the targets are intelligent people, and that it could be a punishable crime: "Controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship" section of the Serious Crime Act of 2015 , in England and Wales. "
