Title: After four years of NC
Post by: blacksheep7 on April 07, 2021, 07:57:35 AM
Gc bro, the eldest sent me a text:  blacksheep sweetie why are you shutting everyone off
next text that followed: I miss you

Don't you love the accusatory statement  ;D   Pds sure know how to communicate, don't they?
They still don't get it, like I'll go back to Foo and forget everything that happened, especially with NM.  I do not plan to see her again, she's dead to me.  Plus gcb is very close with NM.   I won't reply.

I am surprised cause he's the one who avoided me when I called him out on his behavior (alcoholism).

I never thought I see this coming.  He is the FM I guess.

We are very close in age, 15 months difference so we were close in our teens.  He married by bff and moved furthur away because of his employment.  Long story short....I saw him about five times in 30 years.  Never really called me, not even on my birthday or holidays.   Did not have any interest in knowing his blood nieces & nephews either. Showed up in our lives in 2014 when his wife died, he was alone.  That is where I discovered who he had become as an adult.  A Yes Man.

I did reply after all.

«where were you for 35 years.....why?»

Also that I had several reasons but mainly the Matriach, a covert narcissist.  She  proved to me time and time again that I could not trust her, betrayed me xxxx times.  She is dysfunctional and acts exactly like NF did.   I am not interested and am in a good place now........peace of mind.

He replied:  Ok.

Just like my other three siblings, they never responded when it came down to the «truth being told».

I hope sending that made you feel better. I'm picturing your gcb  :-O

I swear they all have amnesia when it suits them.

Yes, it did make me feel better because now he knows my reasons.  He was the only sibling that didn't.  I thought it over before answering.
I even sent him the link of an article on  which I found was the best one I had read.  It describes M to a T.   The article states that there is usually an overt bullying narcissist coupled with the covert (my parents).   He didn't answer to that and I have no expectations as well as no regrets of my actions.

I got an email from my sister at the start of COVID. It want "I know you want nothing to do with your family, but ...".

It showed me there has been no reflection on her end what so ever. There was a later incident where we had a death and I reached out to her. She had not changed a bit. It resulted in some massive drama where they dragged in my abusive ex. He ended up sending brochures for a will making service and cemetery plots to my home. I can't prove in a court of law it was him, but I know it was.

Nothing ever changes. Ever.
