Just wanted to update and say thank you!

We didn't go to BIL's wedding. DH didn't go either (due to the pandemic and big distance, he would have gone otherwise - but he had already accepted that the kids and I weren't going).

DH told DS that BIL is getting married and that we would call them. DS started saying he wanted to call BIL. I said I don't want DS to have any contact with inlaws, so what do we do? DH said it might be a good idea to take the kids for a walk, while he would be watching the wedding live. I offered to record a video with wishes for his brother. So we reached a good compromise.
