It's been about 5 years since I started my way Out of the FOG.
At first, I said I would stay until DD went to college. This was to protect her from MIL. Later I included offsetting H's manipulations in that decision.
Finally found a good T, and she's been talking to me about the impacts that staying 8 more years might have.
Very recently, I got to my tipping point. H had a temper tantrum over an undefined slight and hid in his bedroom for an evening.
The thought came almost like someone else was saying it: I can't live this way anymore!
I'm starting to pull together divorce options.
It's overwhelming!! Feels like learning  a new language.  I don't know what the terms mean: contested, at fault, mediation, serving papers, etc.
Can anyone point me to  some online sources that walk through the basics?
