Christmas slip on NC

went NC with PD parent/siblings this summer so no emails/calling/visiting

then slipped on NC @ Christmas
decided if received a card from a sibling, would mail one back
not all siblings sent one, but I did mail card to those who did

we did deliver/left at door small gift for PD parent but didn't call, email, or see them
one sibling sent gift to our child & contacted husband to FaceTime- I left house to avoid FT

however, with no emails, phone calls, or visits- Christmas was relaxing with husband & child only


I'm guessing not only one who has slipped after going NC?

fortunately, other side of family is a normal family

grateful our child can see that extended family CAN be normal with no drama...ever
they each Skype with child weekly, also!

they live far away but maybe when things settle, we can fly & visit

no regrets
there has been no contact from PD parent so not pulled back in

also, glad left house when the one sibling did FaceTime
husband said they were on almost an hour!

fortunately, I was away from house that long
