I had a good week with boundaries

Took the whole family to North Carolina (Son goes to college there).  We watched NCAA cross country nationals where son ran and then did activities in Virginia. I rented two vehicles for the week so that I had some freedom and with care and managing expectations the holiday went well.  UOCPD spouse handled purchasing the meal from several eateries, we borrowed son's apartment kitchen and family did well.  A few limited stresses but largely handled things mainly by stepping out when needed and scheduling activities that allowed interactions without major decisions making: I hired an outfitter to take a group fly fishing so the decisions were left to someone else for that.  I don't know if this is the norm and it probably isn't but things were handled well by all.
It is unwise to seek prominence in a field whose routine chores you do not enjoy.

Hi Jsinjin!

Well done on the boundary planning and successful implementation!  Hopefully Jsinjin Jr had a successful cross country nationals!

Congrats to him on his achievements in the sport, reaching that NCAA Div 1 level of competition.

My hat tips to both of you,
