Family Members finally seeing NPD Mom’s “other side”

My stepfather's family had a Celebration of Life for my Uncle yesterday. That side of the family has no idea how awful my NPD Mom can be. My aunt  tells my Mom about the party ASSUMING she will tell me, because normal loving parents would.

I get a text yesterday from NPD Mom asking if I'm working. Of course not it's a holiday. Then she tells me about the party. I'm like why wouldn't you have told me? And I quote "It's not up to me who she invites", like she's a special vip or something. My aunt approached her at the party and asked if I was coming and she asked my aunt if she invited me. At a loss for words my aunt said nothing.

I did reach out and told them what happened. It's just hard they had to see how evil she is at an event to honor my deceased uncle.

Yeah funerals/ celebration of life's will take from LIMELIGHt ON THEM so they have bad behavior.  This is common.

My childhood friends lost their mom.  I got pictures of these people from my Narc parents AFTER THE EVENT.

And my brother who was NOT friends with them and was having surgery that day was screamed at to come.
