Hi everyone, I'm "Lisa". I've just come across Out of the FOG while looking for support managing my relationship with a PD-parent, as well as its longstanding impact on my health and wellbeing. Appreciate this can be a particularly difficult time, in the run-up to Christmas, for those who celebrate it. Hope you're all doing okay. Looking forward to being part of an understanding community - it's so hard to find people who can relate, and so tiring trying to explain things. Take care.

Hi and welcome. I am thankful you have found our little corner of the world and have joined the community. I am sorry for the difficulties in your relationship with your parent that bring you here.

We are fellow travelers who do get it and the support and insights I have found here have been of great value in my own healing journey! The impact in having a relationship with a disordered parent is lightened a bit when we share that load with others.

Take a look around the forum at the resources and toolbox above. When you are ready, join the conversations taking place on the forum boards! I look forward to supporting you!
