Back From the Looking Glass, 13 Steps Towards a Peaceful Home, by Kim Cooper

This e-book is written for the Co-dependent in relationship with a person who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder and primarily for those who wish to stay, but also offers excellent advice for anyone planning to leave.  It's the only book I've read whose author believes that a narcissist and co-dependent can thrive together.  The author isn't a counselor, but writes about her personal experience. After she learned of her husband's disorder and was advised to leave him, she researched extensively until by trial and error she put together a plan that turned her marriage around. She and her husband now work together and have a business helping others with Co-dependent/ NPD relationships. There are naysayers of Kim Cooper's work, but I have been using her advice when I interact my ex-husband and for me, it's the only method that actually works. Had I applied her principals earlier, I might not have needed to divorce.
She describes:
Setting up a support network
Drawing boundaries
Protecting your emotions
Letting go of expecting him to change
Personal development
Attachment Theory

It sounds like an interesting book, and anything that gives me some hope and useful tips should be well worth a look.
