Maybe I'm getting less foggy

I've noticed a thing. Updh has always made these proclamations that "everyone" or "people" behave in certain ways, or things are just "reality" or "how The World is", when I know it isn't so. He would rage when I wanted examples of exactly who these :everyone" and "people" characters were.
I never used to see concrete examples of the wrongness of these statements, though.

These days, I pretty much let this stuff blow over my head, BUT I am constantly seeing these proclamations proven false OVER and OVER! He still keeps making the same ones about the same subjects....which is odd to me...plus new ones. Always negative, of course.
It really points up how we live under this weird little PD cloud, and it's actually helpful for getting his voice out of my head.

My daughter made that painfully clear to me once when, during a lecture from my NPDh, she fact checked his statements on her pad. Then she set her information against his proclamations. Irritated him a bit but not enough to stop him from lecturing us. Afterwards I realized how I had stopped years ago to really listen to him, just let his monologues rush over me, like some natural event that has to be endured.

Really, what makes them experts at about everything, the world, and people?
I can't hate my way into loving myself.

They are always right. About everything.

Accept this puny mortal or feel their wrath.

Sorry to be flippant but that's the bottom line with PDs. It's part of the pathology. Remember the three C's..

Sending hugs.
It gets better. It has to.

I'm there with you. She seems to KNOW that there are people who hate her and I am "naïve" and unable to read "between the lines." Most of these people don't actually spend a minute of their time worrying about her, but it's like she would rather think they hate her than to know that she is not actually all that important to most of the 7 Billion people on the planet.

People always hate H, or "yell at him"  I find that hard to believe, as I don't think people think about him that much, as they don't think that much about me.
There have been times when I heard the conversation that he had with another person, who he claimed to always be yelling at him. I didn't catch it..
Last week we were driving and his case worker for workman's comp called, so we had his phone on speaker. He said before that he hated talking to her because of the yelling at him. I have always found her to be pleasant. She's a very busy person, so doesn't have time for chit-chat, but she's nice.
We spoke, she was nice, we answered questions, and then were done.
At one point she asked if the doctor mentioned when he can go back to work. (A question he won't ask his doctor because he doesn't want to go back to work. Another rant)
She was perfectly nice.
He was quiet, and I could tell he was just ruminating about it. Trying to find a way that she was unreasonable.  He huffed and said "Did you hear her? "When are you going back to work??"  as if she 'yelled at him.'
I said I didn't hear that, thought she was nice.
It's amazing how he hears things, or makes them up in his mind. He hears what he wants

With my PDH its a matter of feelings as facts so the black and white all or nothing statements will vary from one time to the next.

PdFOMK, or PDMKF,  hmmmm.

My marriage is over and I am done pretending, yet I dont plan on getting a legal divorce.  Father of my kids, my kids father, just thinking out loud.
