I am new to this Forum.
This is my first day of going "No Contact", with a Narcisistic Lady friend with whom I have been hanging around for 12 years.
For 8 years she showered me with a fake friendship "love", or "shared fantazie". And then, from one day to the other, she started belittling me, discarding me, putting me down and calling me names.
I am a Codependant, and it has been for me, very difficult to finally let go.
I have taken damage with these past four years of constant harassment, but then again, it was me, allowing this abuse, because I was unable to put a clear cut to it or an end.
As a narc, she isolated me, creating rumors all around the people that I knew and thus I was afraid to end this abusive relationship to find myself completely alone.
I have read all information I could on the Narcissistic Personality Disorder, her PD, and I have started seeing a Therapist, I reached out and made some new acquaintances, and now I am coming to this Forum for support.

Welcome.

If you are reading from our website, particularly the Toolbox, you are doing the right thing. And having a T to talk is great. And seeking support from this community is spot on. Now make sure you are investing in a real life FOC. They help you, more than anything else, to keep your head straight, stay disciplined, and to be honest with and about yourself.

This isn't easy. But neither is it impossible.

Welcome aboard.

Thank you Starboard Song, for your post.

The NPD Lady has "sucked" most of my energy.
I am very weak physically. I have difficulty into getting out of bed and into the shower.
The Therapist sent me to a Family Doctor, and I turned to be needing vitamins, iron an minerals as complements from poor balanced feeding during these four hectic times.

So I am beginning by taking care of my health first.
I made some acquaintances in the local Cultural Center, that could turn with the time to be friends.

I am seeing the Therapists once a week for one hour.

And I have written into a Women Support Group in my Community.

I have to start taking care better of my daily life, material matters.

So there I go, one step after the other.
