Brother may be stalking me

UNPD brother.
He's blocked from my social media because of the comments he posted and the way he would speak  to me on there. Blocked a few years ago now. It's been bliss.
He's also blocked on Messenger due to bullying behaviour toward me on one -to -one and group sibling threads.
He would always say that he was being very 'rational' and that it was me that '..wouldn't answer the bullet points' regarding my long list of failings as a human being, apparently easily proven by said points.

I was scrolling yesterday, and suddenly there was his face- well half of it- on a profile pic. ( as if he was peeping).
He popped right up on 'people you may know'.
He's added an extra  Facebook account. He's used his middle name and his real surname,  but with a fake birthday. Nothing on his page, apart from a cover photo showing him and appalling sister in law ( enabler/fm) and his profile pic, showing one half of his face.

So he's been able to view whatever is visible
(thankfully, very little) of my Facebook profile. I have everything that I can, set to private, so it isn't much of a harvest for him. Just my cover and profile pic.

I'm just annoyed that he popped up at all. It's meant to be a safe zone for me.

His middle name is my father's first name. That is so weird too. My dad is elderly and doesn't do Facebook. It's not an attempt to impersonate my dad, but yet I feel uneasy.

He must have set this up from his work computer or something? I'm sure you are not supposed to have more than one Facebook profile?
I just wanted to log it here, to feel better. It's just weirded me out a bit.
I'm not really looking for advice.
I've blocked his new profile now, as well as his old one. Easily done.
When things like this occur, people on here get it.
I guess 'block and forget' is the key.

It's a drug to them. He needed a fix I guess. :stars:

Ah well, our disordered people, you can always trust them to act disordered.

Sorry you're having to deal with it, Nano. Yes, block away, and have a little chuckle if you want at the nonsense. I find that once I can see the humor, it makes everything that much better. Hugs to you!

Thanks Andeza, those hugs are much appreciated!  :)
And thank you for reminding me how ridiculous and laughable their behaviour can be.
Absolutely not to be taken seriously! Xx

I totally share your sense of bafflement, nanotech! I would block and try to forget too. What an inconvenience, though.

I can't believe they do stuff like this. It's so transparent, too.

My FOO is starting to do weird flying monkey stuff and stalking too....I just can't believe people sit at their computers and tell themselves "yes this is absolutely a good use of my time."

Hepatica

nanotech,
that must have been a yucky feeling.

Lately I've noticed on FB an assortment of new people being pushed as friends I may know and it unsettles me, because I keep waiting for someone's face to appear that I don't want to see. I have a massive list of blocked family members and some evil old boyfriends.

I think blocking and moving on is all you can do, and yes, shake your head and sit with the exasperation of their weirdness, if you need to. They do not change and I'm sure social media is way too tempting to them to spew their darkness. My sister has double FB accounts. Both are now blocked.

Thanks Distance and Hepatica too!
It's lovely to pop back on here and see and feel so supported and validated.
But I am sorry you've suffered the same sort of sinister rubbish. And yes, what a waste of time and energy!
I think I'll just resume normal service, keep calm and carry on!
