Not sure where to post but I'll be leaving my toxic in-laws soon since I plan on leaving abusive partner.

They are just as bad and toxic as my current partner is.

My stbxFiL is still an alcoholic and gets both verbally and physically abusive. I don't want my son around that.

My stbxFiL's Wife is rude and condense ending and so is stbxMiL.

My stbxSiL is shady and only cares if things benefit her and lies to get her way I found out.

The one thing they all have in common is that they ALWAYS try to control people and put them beneath them. They think they're always the "best" at something or "better" than others.

I don't want to deal with that anymore. So when I cut off my partner, I won't have to deal with them either.

I decided to reach out to a distant relative and they offered to help me. I reconnected with my brothers and they were understanding and willing to help too. My stbxSiL wasn't understanding and said basically that this is getting old and to do it already.

Since the beginning of the relationship, she never really wanted us together. She has a weird vendetta against her brother whenever he did succeed in something. However, I'm tired of being my partners cheerleader and don't care about what they think. They only do what's beneficial for them, all they want to do is see little one when trampling over my boundaries.

Anyone else have dealt with this?

I'm just...tired and somewhat relieved this nightmare will be over soon.

Hilltop

No I haven't left as my in laws were toxic but my husband isn't abusive.

Congratulations on getting out.  I'm sure it probably doesn't feel like that now, I would imagine it's scary however when you are free and away from them, that's when you will feel relief.  You will finally be safe.  I went VVVLC with my inlaws and felt relief from that.

Honestly it doesn't sound like they bring anything good to your life.  Don't get dragged down in that.  Run and don't look back.
