More of the crazy-making. My uNPDh asked me to bring him lunch at work, and a tool from our home. I did. He was so pissed that I put the tool in my car because it got the seat dirty. I told him it was no big deal. He said "Well it's a big deal to ME! Yo're destroying your car." I bristled immediately. He does this constantly. And right in front of our son. I almost asked if I was grounded. Or if he wanted my keys. But I didnt want to fight with him in front of the kiddo so I just ignorted it.
I'm so pissed off I cant breatbe.

Rightly so. Hard to imagine what makes him think it is ok to put you down like that.
I can't hate my way into loving myself.

Call Me Cordelia

What a set up. How were you supposed to bring him the tool without putting it in the car?  :Idunno:

I'd be pissed too. You say he does this constantly... do you have a plan for dealing with it? It's definitely not good for your son to witness.

Boat Babe

Any excuse to abuse you.

Also, he is abusing your child. One of the ten ACEs ( Adverse Childhood Experiences) is witnessing a parent being abused.

I remember my father treating my mother horrifically. It's burned into my psyche. Although mum is a waify uBPD and continues to be a right royal pain in the bum, I am forever grateful that she got away from him, taking me with her when I was 6.

Sending you love and courage.
It gets better. It has to.

Omg! Updh does this too! I have a rubber guard in the hatch of MY car, but he flips his shit when I put bags of wood chips/soil back there, or tools, or DOGS (and holy hell if the dogs ride on the seats), anything like that!
Nuts, innit???
