Problems with the Out of the FOG account

Hi. I'm MarlenaEve.

I had to make a new account because I couldn't reset my old password (I forgot my password so I wanted to reset it). Now that I'm registered here with a new email address, the confirmation for creating the account hasn't shown up in my email. That's weird. Shouldn't we receive a link that says we created a new account on Out of the FOG? I'm wondering if there is a problem that prevents emails from being sent to newly registered users.

Anyway, I hope there won't be any need for me to do any changes to my account in the future. Also, please let me know if there are technical problems with this forum in the future.

There are ongoing email issues that include password reset problems and they're trying to find the disconnect so it can be repaired.

In the meantime may I suggest a "report to moderator" (link at bottom of every post on the board actually) for one of your previous posts? That will go directly to the moderators, then they can contact you directly to resolve the password issue.

Remember, Out of the FOG is all volunteer - immediate response isn't always possible but they will get back to you as soon as possible.

the information you provided was not a match to the account email you set up the marlena account with.  if you remember, this also happened with another account you had prior, where you were also unable to give the correct email to let us do a manual reset.

the password reset email will go to the account you set up the profile with.  since you could not confirm that email account we can't say if it's a user issue on your end or a forum issue.    i will have someone see if they can check the registration email with our test account.  please also do check your spam folder.
