Ps those lyrics are spot on. I'll have to have a listen. I'm not NC but VLC. I don't invite them to visit any more, or tell them what's going on. Who needs to be messed around ? Their loss.

I found an article where Harry himself says this about the song:

"Harry himself explained what 'Matilda' is about in his Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe, explaining it's about someone else's experience and not his own.

"I wanna support you in some way. But it's not necessarily my place to make it about me; cause it's not my experience. Sometimes it's just about listening. I hope that's what it did,I hope it just says 'I was listening to you'" Harry summarised."

I think the lyric I relate to more than any other is in Everclear's song "Father of Mine." It's so hard for me to explain to people how narcissistic abuse has left me feeling about myself. This is pretty much it:
