Greetings all,
It's been a very long while since I've posted on here. I am married to a woman whom I have long suspected to be some mix of a cluster B - undiagnosed. Some of you might be familiar with me. Not sure of the frequent poster turnover on here. We've done oaky throughout Covid, although a frank, open conversation would reveal a treasure trove of disagreement over the legitimacy of the response to the virus. I'm definitely in the camp of "we lit the house of fire to deal with a pest problem".

Anyway, I'm curious if anyone has ever dealt with their uDPD spouse having gone through brain surgery. My wife recently had surgery for a meningioma - a non malignant type of brain tumor. The mood swings are really bad. As bad as I've ever seen. Things are either going very well, or she is Satan incarnate. Thoughts, anecdotes, experiences to share? Anything helps. I hope all is well (to the extent possible) with everyone. Thanks in advance for reading

I don't have any experience with what you're going through. I just want to say that I'm sorry you're having to deal with it.

I am in a situation that is similar in that we deal with both personality issues as well as phyciatric/medical issues.

My experience has been that psychiatric meds have helped.  There are medications that can help with mood lability.  There might be others that can help with other symptoms.  Addressing them in the context medical issues and post surgical issues might be met with less resistance.
