As has been posted before, we are heading into holiday season.  And all the baggage that goes with it.

So tonight I am thinking deep Thanksgiving thoughts.  Join me!

I am grateful for my Out of the FOG family.  While we don't know each other; we know each other.  I love that.  I visualize all of you, and I mean all, as surrounding me like kind ghostly friends that offer such incredible words of insight, wisdom and support throughout my day.

I am grateful for my growth.  For each step Out of the FOG and every day under clear, brilliant sky.

I can do hard things.  Unlike the PDs in my life, I can look at my self and adjust, learn and adapt.  I love that about me!

Connections, ahas, moments of clarity and all that is in-between - you know those little moments where you are washing the dishes and two disparate things click into place that make you go - huh - and suddenly you look at the world differently and you act accordingly

Patience - or working on patience - with my children; myself; friends and lovers - developing patience in know that their journey is theirs and mine is mine.  And that is ok.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays!

JKT, literally every line you wrote applies in ways to me as well (except 'lovers'...😂 good for you though and well done haha on the plural!!).  #badass

I also am so thankful for introversion, as it allows me to be my own best friend, and recharge alone.  Therefore not dependent on other humans for recharging, which well allows me specifically, to balance my needs in healthy human interaction.  Introversion is a perfect fit for me and my situation 🙌🏻

I am thankful for my widely varied interests and flexibility, which both allow me to find nuggets of joy in so many things.

I am thankful for the joyous vibe in this thread you started. Thank you JKT.

Proverbs 17:1
A meal of bread and water in peace is better than a banquet spiced with quarrels.

2 Timothy 1:7
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Proverbs 29:11
A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.

I'm also thankful for the joyful vibes that you are cultivating here, JKT!

I am thankful for this community. There is so much support, wisdom, and warmth here. I love the diversity of viewpoints, which gives us all a rich repository of tools to choose from on our individual journeys.

I am thankful that my faith has grown this year.

I am thankful for my kind husband and his good character.

I am grateful to feel more resilient and resourceful than I did a year ago.

I am grateful for my physical health, a peaceful and secure home, and the space to take even better care of myself.

I am also thankful for introversion and being my own best friend, SOT ;) Your perspective on this really inspires me. Yes, relationships are important for our health. And the most important relationship--the one that dictates the quality of our other relationships--is the one we have with ourselves.

Happy Thanksgiving, friends :)
