Starting Over

Hey ... I guess I'm back! I cringe really hard looking at some of my old posts. I've made many changes in my life, but not at 100% of where I want to be.

* PDex I've completely severed ties with PDex, who was my son's dad. I only had to keep in contact due to court, but now it's over and done. I put something similar to "restraining order" against him. I've learnt throughout the years PDs don't necessarily have "rhyme or reason" as they say, for their behaviour, and sometimes...there's really nothing TOO understand...

* WORK: I left a toxic job recently, because they told me I can't make my schedule and better work when they tell me to... When LO was in hospital due to an accident and recovering, so I quit and have a better job lined up [pays DOUBLE+ the amount of original], just waiting to hear back.
I am also looking to get my own business uplifted hopefully soon...

* HOUSING: I'm in the process of trying to move out of 2nd older brother's house, we had a fall-out recently, and he said some things that were out of line and his actions throughout the year has shown me his true colours. I'll have to make post under the PD sibling tag or something for this one...

Uhm..but more on housing, I want to move out country, I don't feel happy here. I have family around the world, who I want to meet and reunite with...too much toxic here...

* HABITS: I'm attempting to quit caffeine. I was good for 14 days but...not a lot of food in house so...I ended up ruining my streak. However, I will not let that bog me down. I also want to quit smoking, or rather... Vaping... I've never smoke cigarettes, just cannabis and vape, but have been on a health crunch(?)...health kick? Idk lol. I want to be healthy.

* EDUCATION: I'm motivated to go back to college to get a master's degree after meeting a new friend, they're currently attempting to get their masters. I used to study CE in STEM field.

* OVERALL: I've been struggling here and there, but for the most part I'm just...OK? Not really good or bad. It's too much to explain in one post.
I might make separate posts based on specific topics with more info or it'll be too long and rather drab to read. Basically, TLDR, I lost my place, car, job, lost temporary custody of LO(he back as of Autumn of 2022), was starving (couldn't afford food and too depressed anyways), and got into major debt a year ago and it's been tumultuous being between jobs, taking LO to hospital for illnesses(I fired from jobs because of this or have left because of it), having bad cars that break down and...just..yeah..long stories. Too long.

Uhm... I guess that's it?

I try to improve my languages(I speak a few...)

Sounds like you have had a lot on your plate. But it also sounds like you have been making good progress. And sometimes OK is - well - OK. Certainly better than bad.

Hello, thank you! I unfortunately, did not get the job I mentioned in post and feel slightly down. Was told I need only customer service experience and they accept based off of that, but ... I never had experience in that particular field, also too many jumps in my resume since living in this particular city, unfortunately...so, I was overly confident/ a bit cocky I would get job but didn't lol.

At the same time, I'm slightly relieved? (Which may sound bad)
It's basically a high paying call center, and I'm rather tired of call center work. All I want is a regular job, not feel like drone. No fun. But same time, my just take whatever comes to me.

I am in process of applying many jobs though, and I guess may apply for unemployment just in case, but there are many jobs in city, I just need not be picky.
