Just found this forum. Don't really know what to expect. I do know I'm just really tired of always being the bad guy. About a year and a half ago I had a hunch my wife might be narcissistic, but didn't put too much stock into it. Fast forward - I would really like some feedback to see if my concerns have any validity to them. Been married 15 years. Lots of kids. Just need some help to actually see if I'm crazy. Thanks, and I look forward to talking with y'all.

Hi Pig wrestler.  A very warm welcome to Out of the FOG!  You have arrived at a wonderful place filled with kind, caring and understanding people from all around the world.  You are surely not alone.

As a newcomer, I will advise you hike up to two tabs at the top of the forum page.  One is the Personality Disorders tab where you will find the Top 100 Traits dropdown.  I recommend you read around the traits and see which ones you have experienced from your spouse over your 15 years.  At the same time, pitch your tent one tab over to the right at the Toolbox tab. That tab contains a world of great tools which you can read about and begin to implement in various ways to better protect yourself.

None of the tools are designed to change your spouse (we can only control and change ourselves) but when used properly with your own actions, reactions and understanding, the tools can be helpful to you as you navigate your future.

I look forward to reading more about your experiences with a PD spouse at the other forum boards. We here at Out of the FOG all walk these trails together and each board is like a friendly clearing along the trails with a warm campfire and a fine group of fellow hikers already chatting, having left an open seat always available for a new arrival like yourself.  Find a board, warm your tired feet around the friendly fire and join in the conversation.

See you around the boards!
