This is my first post here, sorry for the grammar. I live next to a group of people who never liked me and after learning that I didn't like one of their relative it became worse. Where they spent time trying to figure me out and find all my flaws. They even said they are going to keep talking shit because I didn't like her. They even reached out to people in highschool and college to find out how I was like or things they can say to get her over me. They told them all my flaws and the reason they stopped talking to me. They even brought up an addication which I have been able to overcome which involed porn. Even if I stopped, they bring it up and turn anything I do against me. They listen to the conversations I have since our houses are next to each other and have something to say that I don't have friends. he is not going to work again till he finds his dream job, he's acting like he's working and he got himself a dog since he's a loner. He likes to be by himself. I only try to stay at home to sleep these days, I'm doing my best to find a job since the market is hard, I have a part time job so it's something. I found a group that's helping me but I don't tell my parents much anymore because I feel they will turn it against me. They did something similar after I attended someone's funeral, just pointed out my negatives. They complicated my life with former friends, my family or anyone new in my life. I even stopped spending time with my dog because their words hurt. People tell me to ignore it but it's hard when you have to listen to it, why people don't like you. It's like the world against you or in this case, six people, former friends just pointing out everything they don't like about me. I just don't know who to turn to anymore. My parents tell me to ignore it but it's hard. I have gotten tired from all of this and wish I can just hide or disappear. I turned myself in to the cops because I needed someone to talk to about this and get help. It worked for a while and found a therapist. It's hard to build yourself up and then be taken down again. It hurts more due to old acquaintances.

I am so sorry you are stuck with a neighbor group like this.

our focus here is primarily how to help members heal from relationships with PD/ uPD people.  I would highly recommend the boundaries and grey rock sections of the toolbox https://outofthefog.website/toolbox-intro

they are good techniques to use with all kinds of difficult people- whether a PD/uPD is involved or not.

in the meanwhile, it sounds like you are doing everything you can do to put yourself in a better situation so you can move out/ on with your life.  many of the members have had those negative voices in our heads and the best way out of it is through it, just keep working on you and the things you can control.
