Identified Patient/Scapegoat
« on: June 22, 2016, 08:25:01 PM »
Hi

Can anyone here recommend a good book surrounding the family SG/IP topic?

It gets lonely up here on the clifftop without my shepherd and sheep siblings.

Much Love

As the newly assigned IP in my FOO, I have googled and found some interesting, informative sites and blogs, but no specific books to recommend.  you are not alone in the loneliness. Wishing you healing and peace.

I can't verify the value of this book, as I haven't read it, but this is one that popped up for me: https://www.amazon.com/Scapegoating-Families-Intergenerational-Patterns-Emotional/dp/0876306393

Are you looking for books specifically, or would you appreciate articles also? I've read a ton about it online and could try to find some of the better links if you were interested.

all4peace - thank you. articles would be most welcome. are you able to provide the links or PM me with them?

I am definitely interested. I'd be especially interested in articles discussing scapegoating a gay family member but to date I've found little on this sub-subject

Thanks again
