Borderline Personality Disorder
« on: April 07, 2017, 02:49:44 AM »
I saw a thing on here that said that a ten year old shoplifter has a personality disorder; so I just want to let y'all know: you can't be professionally diagnosed with a PD until you're 18, 17 if it's severe enough. I would know. The reason being is that teenagers going through puberty can present symptoms of a PD due to hormone imbalance. Just saying.

Agreed - see post below - minors should be under professional care. Some countries though as young as 14 a child can refuse mental health treatment.
