She's out
« on: May 07, 2018, 10:44:22 AM »
Previously I had posted about our daughter being abusive towards me. Just wanted to let everyone know that she is now out of the house, and agreeing to go to counseling. We certainly hope she keeps this agreement.

She had been verbally abusive towards me and, as the pattern goes, a few days later it escalated to property damage. I called the cops, they spoke to her, and they advised me that the next time could be a lot worse than property damage.

Our daughter admits to being the catalyst for this whole thing, but blames me for making "such a big deal" out of it and tries to minimize it. I have faith that the counselor will see through this. It should be very interesting going forward.

I'm glad you've stood your ground.

I hope that with counseling you will get some answers and that your d will find some insight into her behaviors and stop blaming.

The degree of anger and rage that lies just below the surface is scary.
