This 10 year old little girl was murdered by her father during an access visit.  This happened yesterday near Toronto, Canada.    When she wasn't returned on time, mother panicked and alerted police but they were too late.  As a mother protecting my children from their unstable, volatile father my heart breaks.  Please please put your children first.  Protect them and don't be afraid to fight for sole custody.  I don't know all the details of this family but I know that the mother must be devastated and it hits too close to home.

Given my experience, and the stories i read of others, i do often wonder about the people responsible for commiting those crimes we so often hear about.

Its scary that the law does not protect the public better. That we have not evolved to act on the warning signs of someone who is behaving unstable.
