Histrionic mother?

We suspect that my mother might be histrionic and something else too.

Do any of you know of any literature about growing up with a parent that has this condition?

I can't talk to her about it, I have to keep my distance to be able to live my life.

Sorry I don't have any information to you, but I discovered just a couple of days ago that I too have a histrionic mother! That really has opened my eyes to her behaviors and our relationship and I hope for both of us that this is the first step in taking care of ourselves!
