I've been reading this book by George Simon. In chapter ten he goes into a few traits that make us easy victims of manipulative people. I have every one of these traits so I guess it's no big surprise then why I married the man I married. This is one of the reasons why I will never remarry if I ever find myself single.
The traits are:
1. Naivete (not so much know but in my 20's for sure)
2. Over-conscientiousness
3. Low self-confidence
4.Over-internationalization (tries hard to understand people)
5.Emotional dependency

Cascade that book has been a great help to me as well. Thanks for sharing how important these insights into your stuff have been. I can closely relate!

I first read "Character Disturbance" also by George Simon and felt like it was a big light bulb a-ha book. I read "In Sheep's Clothing" second and liked that too.

I haven't read that book but I should check it out, thanks.
