So we are now under contract with a house and settlement is supposed to be April 30.
We are STRESSED.
The seller has a substantial lien against the house.
We might end up buying the house from the bank instead.
We are trying not to fight with each other and I just feel almost permanently stressed out.
I am in therapy, but it's not enough right now.
What can I do in the meantime?

Hi there. It can be quite the roller coaster to buy a home these days. Some ways to destress that help me are to stay physically active, pay close attention to the foods I eat and how much caffeine I take in, spend time doing something creative that I love and in nature, and spending time with pets or little ones that bring us back to simple joy.

Good luck with this and great hopes that things come together soon and you are moved in before you know it!

The truth will set you free if you believe it.

I always find a glass of white wine and some chocolate works wonders ....
