I have been Out of the FOG for eight amazing years.  I do struggle with the past and the toxic fumes from my PD Family.  I recently read the PD trate page and I ended up printing it out and noting each disorder with a family member or four.    Lets just say that 98 percent of the disorders had at least two family members names next to them.

This brings me to wanting to get past all this and forget the crud.  I want this toxic dump to be gone forever.  That said, I am looking for the best books that will help me move on.

Thank you all for your time and advice and help.

Hi there. I am really glad you are here and finding that seeing things defined in black and white can really be validating and healing in and of itself. I have found the info and sharing here to be a great relief as I see that what I have experienced in relationships with disordered family members is not so unique and there are ways to heal and move beyond the toxic fumes as you say.

We have an entire thread for book reviews found here: https://www.outofthefog.net/forum/index.php?board=26.0

And another thread for other media resources that I find to be a gold mine of help and information found here: https://www.outofthefog.net/forum/index.php?board=45.0

Keep coming back! It helps dissipate the remaining FOG!
