Clarity.

I have a sense of clarity I have not had in a long time.  It is however counterbalanced by a sense that there will be some large changes on the horizon.

A plan that I have had for some time that I have put off implementing is falling into place despite me putting off implementation.

I procrastinated in part due to fear and guilt.  I perhaps felt a little guilty/selfish wanting to dive into a dream of my own.  Additionally a perfectionistic part of me wants to know exactly what to plan for.

My intuition, some facts and now outside forces are all pointing in the same direction.  I feel good about the clarity and it's motivating, but at the same time part of the plan was for contengencies' sake.

My less optimistic self feels this.  But the contengency aspect allows hope and progress either way.

I know this is vague but I dont want to be too specific.  It relates to what I want to do with a piece of land I own.  I have recently found away to bring several ideas together to accommodate any or all directions at a greatly reduced investment of cash.

Additionally pieces are falling into place before I even get started.  For example a loan I had long given up on was repaid in part.

That sounds great! I hope these changes bring you peace and happiness.

I have purchased a storage building to serve as an office and should soon have water and electric in on the land.  I am trying to set up a small organic market farm with an overnight cabin/office.

I know that I need to work for sanity and moral reasons when done raising the kids.  I will also need time away from being here with pdh and no buffers.

My DD and I will camp over between now and then and work and okay a little there in the mean time.

Still working on the project but have had some timing setbacks.  I am still optimistic however.

Speaking if clarity I have gained clarity in another area of life.  And will be making changes there soon.

I'm so happy for you, 1foot, that you will have this space. I love gardening and growing things, but have a tendency to fail terribly. Lol. I'll get there eventually.

Do you have plans for any chickens? They make awesome compost, and essentially to the ground for you.

I have chickens at home.  Will be adding some new ones this year.

1Foot,
Yay... that is so cool!  How many? What kind?  Chickens are fun to watch, and they keep snakes away.

I'm hoping to have some one day as well, my chicken coop is partially built and still need an enclosure.

Thanks for sharing...

Keep us posted with how its going   :bigwink:

This sounds sooo exciting! It sounds like a wonderful way to enrich your life while staying Out of the FOG. Hoping to get chickens myself soon.

I had a wonderful teacher once explain this to the class.  God wants to bless us and help us with all the righteous desires of our hearts.  If there are decisions to make in life and we might have a desire to do something but want some kind of an answer to our prayers whether or not they are the right decisions God does hear our prayers and paraphrasing the teachers suggestions; God is up there and saying; You go ahead and do what ever it is you want to do.  I will bless your life in anything you desire to set your goals toward as long as your desire is to be a good person, do as I ask you to do, be obedient to My Word you will have the blessings as you are obedient and are worthy of those blessings.  He wants us to talk to Him, Pray to Him, have Faith that He will bless our lives as we are obedient to His commandments.  So my teacher was basically saying, those righteous desires you want to pursue, Go for it.  As you strive to do God's will, He will keep His promises that you will be blessed.
Sounds like you've got a great goal and one that you are going to really enjoy.  Go for it.  Have fun.

We added 13 (14 one died) chicks from 7 breeds to our 5 hens.  They were selected for egg colors so the eggs will be amazing. The little chickens are so varigated and are beautiful as well.

I bought a tractor and am working on getting the properties for farming etc.  This is all taking longer than expected due to partial shut down etc.  I do not need income from this right away so its all good, and I am off setting by doing some projects myself and saving money up front.

1foot,

I am happy for you, sounds like a lot of fun.  Even with the delay you are experiencing, this project is a good outlet for you during this difficult time.

Thanks for the update

More delays and complexities.

I have been so busy during quarantine i dont know where to start many days.

I still have a plan mapped out. But tue time line is stretching.  Oh well.

That's what I have found a lot in my life - there are opportunities and then obstacles. As if I was being tested if I really wanted this and was I willing to put my back into it.
I wish you good luck with your project! It seems to give you hope and joy  so it is worth pursuing.
I can't hate my way into loving myself.

Same here with the obstacles. But it's so fun to catch the wind and fly.
