Gratitude for this forum!
« on: December 11, 2019, 12:12:14 PM »
I hope I am in the right place...

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for this forum,

Grateful to the people who made it, for those who maintain it, for the people who have answered my many, often naive, questions and also to the people who have posted here.

Thank you all for helping me to get this far OOTF..I couldn't have done it without you XX

Hey sarandro,

Thank you for the kind words. It takes a village! Thank you for sharing your story and being part of this community.

It's been an immense help in my journey too and I'm sure I wouldn't be where I am were it not for the kind supportive community here.

Same here.  Thank-you to all involved administratively and all who share their stories, experiences and advice.

It's safe to say that I would definitely not be where I am today if I hadn't come across this site.

One aspect that has been an enormous help for me is that here I can label the illnesses that I suspect might be my pds' problems. (uNPD etc.)

Unfortunately it's best not to do that with solicitors, counselors etc. Which means a lot of pressure on us and a lot of time wasted.

Here we can say we suspect they have such and such pd and we are not judged for it. Instead we are validated, understood and encouraged.

Also, we don't have to go through the frustrating dance here of trying to explain that the usual xyz solutions to the problems we have with our pds won't/don't work.

Instead we can immediately brainstorm ideas that are more suited to our pds.

This site is invaluable.  Thank-you!

Hey everyone! I'm a newbie here and am so thrilled to find this site and forum. I think I'm going to get a lot out of being here.

I know that I have made some mistakes and bad choices with the situation with my NPD brother but now it's time to move on from those and hopefully, I can gain insight from what people here talk about and new ways of dealing with this.

Thank you for this forum!  :)

This is a great place. Possibly one of the most civilised forums on the internet!
It gets better. It has to.
