Pregnant with new H - what to expect from exNPD?

Hi all,

Hoped some of you had some experience with how exNPDs act in this instance. It is very early on, so anything could happen at this stage, but I wanted to prepare and know how to handle and what to watch out for.

Our kiddo will be thrilled as kiddo has been asking for a baby sibling for awhile now. But I know we can't tell our child until I am ready for exNPD H to know. And I know I need to tell exNPD first so he doesn't hear it from our child.

This is obviously something I wouldn't tell him until after 1st trimester, at minimum. Just wondered if anyone else could share their experiences?

congrats, Anxiousmom!  SO and I do not have children together, so I really can't comment on that, but whatever your ex's reaction is, don't let it ruin your happiness. I do feel it best, as you suggested, that exNPD finds out from you and not your kiddo.
