I have been working on a play list - movie watch that focuses on lifting my spirits.  Joyful (and for me female) empowerment songs that get your fist pumping in the air.

Songs like Roar by Katy Perry; Since you been gone by Kelly Clarkson (that really speaks to me) etc.

Any recommendations?  Or movies that lift your spirits?

Usually I prefer bubblegum and candy songs (upbeat and happy).

Oops! One punch is actually called The Hero! I got it from a show called One-punch Man.

If you're looking for just a positive, happy song, I recommend

FIght song - Rachel Platten

Respect - Aretha Franklin

I get knocked down - Chumbawamba

There are some more, but I can't think of them right now. I'll add to the list later.

Pretty much anything by Madonna, Katy Perry and Pink.

Before separating from uocpd then H, my kids (then 3 and 6) and I used to listen to Roar at breakfast after he went to work. Drove him crazy because he took it as a sign that I wasn't going to put up with his BS any more. We just liked the music.

Unwritten by Natasha Bedingford... I think.
