Poison Ivy

I hope you can find strength to get through the days, weeks, and months ahead, SparkStillLit.  Even when we're happy for our children that they are growing up and leaving the nest, it can be very sad and stressful to endure their absence and the distance between us and them.

NumbLotus

Just a castaway, an island lost at sea
Another lonely day, noone here but me
More loneliness than any man could bear

Stillirise

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.

Thanks you all. I'm having a bit of a time. I didn't go into puddles sending her off...I mean I got a little teary at the very end, but no dissolving. Now though, when I'm alone, some dissolving is going on.
She texted us all the way to on the bus for boot camp. She'd never been on a plane, and she found 4 other girls who hadn't either, so they grouped up and stuck together on layover and everywhere.
She was excited and nervous and chipper.
Brother is quite sad.
