ignore list

I can't figure out how to use the ignore list.  Help me out please.

select account settings in the menu next to your avatar.  use the modify profile drop down menu.  buddies/ ignore list is the last option.  to add members to the ignore list type their screen name in the box on the lower left.  hope this helps.
