Happy 2022, everyone!

It's just clicked over midnight here and I've arrived home after going on my now seemingly traditional drive.

I bought myself a McD's icecream and drove out to the local farmland/winery area.  I sat in the car on the side of the road eating my icecream and singing along to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.  His final canons arrived just before the stroke of midnight.

Afterwards I sat communing with the frogs and gazing at the stars for a while.

I didn't think of much.  Just sat and quietly thanked God for His protection over the years of pd madness.

I'm glad I've found a way to bring in the year on my own away from home.  It's lonely otherwise.

I hope you can all find ways to bring in the new year peacefully.

Happy New Year to everyone who visits this forum.
This was also a very rough year for me, and having this place to come to for support has meant more to me than words can say.
Thank you, thank you, thank you all!

On the stroke of midnight tonight, you can
resolve to be better, if you like ...
to be fitter,
to be healthier,
to work harder.

On the stroke of midnight tonight,
you can resolve to become a whole new your,
if you so choose.

Or, you can take a moment to acknowledge
what you already are,
All that you already are.
Because it's a lot.
You're a lot.

And you deserve to be seen.

On the stroke of midnight tonight perhaps you
could congratulate yourself, for coping.
For breaking, again,
and for rebuilding, again.

For catching the stones life has thrown at you,
and for using them to build your castle that
little bit higher.

You have endured my friend.

And I don't see the need to resolve to become
a whole new you,
when you are already so very much indeed.

Happy New Year!

You Made it!

Happy New Year to all. May this year bring more peace and happiness with the struggles most of you are going through come out in your favor.

This site saved me when at my lowest point. Life for me is much more peaceful and still adjusting to single life with my own home.
